Valentine Wreath {Tutorial} UPDATED

I have another Valentines craft for ya!

I'm totally obsessed with wreaths.{yarn wreaths}especially, they're so easy and simple to make
I can craft them and watch TV at the same time

Take a look at the ones I made this weekend

I love how it turned out!

The LOVE & the hearts I made with my Cricut
It makes craftin so much easier

I had a friend who asked me to make her a Valentine's Day wreath
she wanted her & her husbands name
along with some rosettes

here is what I came up with

She is going to Love it!!

want to make a yarn wreath?

follow my easy tutorial here

Have a great day!

I've had a lot of people ask me for a tutorial and I was so excited to post this that I totally forgot to add a tutorial .
So here ya go!

I used this foam wreath
**get at any dollar or craft store**
This is the yarn I used
It's very different from any other yarn i've ever tried...and I have to say I like it the Best!
It's thicker and fluffy and makes the "wrapping" so much easier

Next step is to wrap...
this step is super easy, all you do is tie off you yarn around your wreath
and go to town wrapping!

It will look like this once you have covered the entire wreath.

Now just add your extras

see super simple craft to make!!!

I hope this hepled everyone out

Chalkboard Valentine

here's how to do it

chalkboard paint, brush, cardboard heart
**hot glue{not pictured}**

Ok...first I have to confess how obsessed I am with
chalkboard paint..I LOVE IT..I would paint our fridge with it
if Taylor would let me lol.

Now the important stuff!..

First you cover you Cardboard heart with the paint.

do 2-3 coats...Let dry for about 20 minutes.

Next is the ribbon...My Valentine need something, so I found my $.50 holiday ribbon
whipped out the hot glue gun and made a trim...

divide your ribbon in half and hot glue the top
{should look like this}

Felt {Heart} Rosette Picture Frame...tutorial

I've been trying to think of some very thrifty and easy
Valentine's Day projects to do....
I came up with this cute litte rosette heart picture frame

how to make it:

Pic frame, felt, foam board, rotary cutters,
hot glue gun, scissors

First you find a picture frame, I got mine at goodwill for $3
remove the glass and backing.
Cut foam board to fit snug inside,
insert it inside the frame.

Next... you make tons and tons of felt rosettes
click here to see how to make them

After you have made your roses, make a heart outline
like the picture below

Next..I added more rosettes to the inside,
gluing them with hot glue to the board.

You're Finished..see how simple that was!!
now just hang and enjoy!!

I  L.O.V. E.  it
