Fall Outfit Inspiration --What I Want To Wear

Happy Wednesday!

It's officially fall weather here in NC and I'm in love.

Fall is my favorite..favorite..favorite season of all!

I love getting out my boots, sweaters, cardigans, leggings.

and not to mention pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks!

I went thrifting yesterday at Goodwill and found so many fall outfits.

I can't wait to share with you all what I purchased.

My Mountain Getaway In Pictures

Long time no blog--wanna see where I've been?

~Mountain Cabin Getaway~

The hubby surprised me with this beauty for a long weekend!

We took advantage of the last days of summer and took off to

the western part of North Carolina.

We had a fun filled weekend packed full of adventure.

This is just one of three waterfalls we hiked.

The area we stayed and hiked in was called

"The Lad of The Waterfalls"

There are 260 waterfalls just in Transylvania County.

Amazing huh?

Have you ever been to the fair?

Well, can you believe that I've never been to a fair--EVER.

I can now say--I've been to the fair.

We had such a wonderful time.

Come to find out, they will and can deep fry anything.

even Oreo's!!

I was like a little kid--I loved everything about it! 

We attended our very first Pig Race--so much fun.

&

 rode the chairlift over the whole park at sunset.

The day before we left we decided to get on the Blue Ridge Parkway 

and hit up some hiking trails.

We hiked a few trails and took some amazing pictures.

A Day We Will Never Forget 9/11

*September 11 2011*

A day I'll never forget.

A day I could tell you exactly what I was doing.

A beautiful day --not a cloud in the sky.

I remember that day oh so vividly

Where I was.

What I was doing.

I was in Mrs. Potters 8th grade math class, when we were told to turn on the TV.

We were told that a plane had flown into the world trade center in New York City.

Word Trade Center? I had no clue--

Minutes went by--We sat and watched as the building burnt.

I witnessed the 2nd plane fly into the building-

I was in awe--

What was this?

 What was happening?

I felt numb.

Scared.

My heart ached for those who were suffering.

Then the towers fell.

The room went silent.

We all were in shock, disbelief.

Every single person had a tear in their eye, a lump in their throat.

The day innocent lives were taken.

Fireman and police officers risked there lives.

Hero's were made.

Stranger helping strangers out.

My heart was broken.

It's the day that changed America
