First off, super sorry for the lack of posting, I've been very sick.
Like sick where I don't wanna blog, check facebook, or get on Pinterest.
Nothing unusual, I get this way every 3 months. Its like clock work.
The doctors cant seem to pinpoint why I get this way, and what's the
cause of my stomach aches. So If you would please
keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
I'm going to try and blog as much as I can, but if I don't
then you know the reason why.
Thanks guys! You all are awesome.
Today I really wanted to show you everything I
got at the epic yard sale on Saturday, but I was just way to sick to take pics.
So, instead I wanted to do a few features.
Meet my good friend Mongs. She is thrifty shopper and super crafty.
I love reading her blog and seeing all her outfit post.
Check out her Thrifted Skirt Refashion
here is what the skirt looked like before...
Love it! She just simply added lace.
Next up...
Meet Laura from Abstract Grace
Laura is so crafty and thrifty with her sewing machine.
Check out what she whipped up for her adorable daughter
Amazing right?
Go check out her blog for a free pattern on how to make your own!
And last but not least....
Meet Courtney from Crafty Project Girl
She took a old pair of flats + fabric + modpodge = AMAZING
I have been wanting to do this !
Check out her new flats!

{After}
How awesome is this?
You girls have really inspired me this week with all your thrifty-ness!
:)
Have you found/made something thrifty?
I would love to hear about it!
Have a wonderful day!
XOXO
You've probably already considered this, but are you stressed? I have pretty bad sick/stomach issues when I let my stress get out of hand. The body has all kinds of weird ways of handling stress.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, hope you feel better soon!
Please feel better soon!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear hope you get well soon... you're in my prayers. Thank you so much for featuring me, I'm so honored. You're so sweet Andrea! *hugs* You rest well dearie!

ReplyDeleteFun thrifty makeovers! That skirt is too cute! Hope you're feeling better friend!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! I hope you're alright! You'll be in my prayers. :) I'm a new follower, also.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all these DIYs with adding a little trim to shorts & skirts. I just need to do it myself!
ReplyDeleteNew follower from the blog hop! What a difference a little lace and paint can make!

Sorry to hear about your stomach issues. I've prayed for you.
ReplyDeleteReally cute blog, though. I am super-thrifty, too, and LOVE garage sales. My DH has to give me a spending limit to keep me from going crazy there (something about dirt cheap makes it hard to be thrifty--LOL).
New follower, Please follow back:

That sounds a lot like a problem I have. Dr. can't pinpoint my issue either, and I don't think I have a lot of stress that could be causing it either. I'd suggest seeing an internist or a GI doctor, if you haven't already.
ReplyDeleteThanks for listing all of these great thifty finds. All very cute. Clever trick with the shoes. That girl is a genuis!
My sister just posted up some of her thfity finds on our blog, if you would to check em out.
