all the sweet comments, they make me smile.

I got some new glasses and wanted to show them off to ya!

The hubs says I look a lot older and very intelligent.

My hair is getting super long, which I love because, it takes my hair FOREVER to grow out.

Monday Motivation: My 2012 Word{s}

Monday Motivation & Inspiration

I usually don't set goals or resolutions for a new year- I just simply do one word

This year I chose two. 

Inspire & Adventure

I'm always striving to inspire others- I would say it's my "life word"

because I simply try to do-or inspire daily.

Adventure is the other word I chose because, this year me and my husband are

hoping to do alot of traveling!

I'm so thrilled-you all know how passionate we are about hiking and traveling.

We want to do a alot more of it this year since my husband will have more time off.

Hawaii is a possibility for our 1 year anniversary! 

What is your word or goals for 2012?

I got good reports from the doctor on Tuesday!

All my test came back great, but they are referring me to a GI doctor  to see

if he can figure out what is causing my stomach pain.

I go tomorrow for a consult with the doctor. 

So please continue to pray for me!

I have another doctors appointment today.

They will read me the results of a few test and ultrasounds.

I'm scared.

I'm worried.

But most of all I want to start feeling better.

This week it was all I could do to get out of my sweatpants.

It's been one tough and exhausting week for me.

Most of you don't know about the stomach problems I'm battling.

The doctor visits, the tests, the massive amounts of blood work.

The fear of not knowing.

I sit here this morning typing this as I await another ultrasound.

Another step closer to figuring out what Is going on.

I sit here thinking about how truly blessed I am.

I am.

Awake.

Alive.

Blessed.

On a positive note:

My husband just got a new job.

A job that we prayed about for 3 months.

It will result in more time together.

A big stress relief in the financial department.

A job that he loves.

I'm so thankful that

It looked like this before.

After a few coats of paint, some new knobs- we have a brand new FREE dresser!

I mean come on--a FREE dresser--all it needed was a paint job and some new hard wear!

Amazing!
